Mohamed Salah Wins CAF Player Of The Year For The Second Time In A Roll

Egypt and Liverpool attacking talisman, Mohamed Salah is the 2018 Confederation of African Football Player of the Year.

The left-footer edged club side teammate Sadio Mane of Senegal and Arsenal/Gabon Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to clinch the coveted prize for the second time consecutively.

The Striker scored 44 goals for his club side Liverpool during the 2017-18 season, helped the Merseyside reds to reach the Champions League Final and also scored twice for Egypt at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I have dreamt of winning this award since I was a child and now I have done so twice in a row,” He said while giving his speech in Senegal on Tuesday.
